Terms of service
Last updated
These terms are the agreement between you and Bracket Mind, which provides Aidfolk. Please read them: by creating an account or using Aidfolk, you accept them.
The agreement
If you use Aidfolk for a company or other organisation, you accept these terms on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to. Our privacy policy and refund policy are part of this agreement.
The service
Aidfolk lets you create AI agents that answer questions from content you provide, and put them on your websites in a chat widget. We keep improving it, so features may change; when a change removes something significant you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
- Give accurate details, keep your password safe, and use one login per person.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account, including what your team members do.
- Some features, such as putting an agent live or inviting people, need a verified email address.
Plans, credits and payment
- Plans, their prices and their limits are described on our pricing page. Limits apply as described there and in the app.
- AI credits pay for AI usage. A plan's monthly credits renew each calendar month and don't carry over. Credits from a credit pack are valid for 365 days. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
- Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which sells you the subscription or pack and handles billing, invoices and sales tax. Its buyer terms apply to the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. When you cancel, your plan continues until the end of the period you've paid for, then your workspace moves to the free plan.
- If we change the price of a plan, we'll tell existing subscribers at least 30 days before the new price applies to them.
- If you move to a smaller plan, its limits and features apply from then on: features it doesn't include stop working, and you can't add more of something until you're within its limit.
- Refunds are described in our refund policy.
Your content
- You own the content you add to Aidfolk and the conversations in your workspace. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it, including to our AI providers, only to provide Aidfolk to you.
- Only add content you have the right to use. Ask Aidfolk to read only websites you own or have permission to read.
- Your agents talk to your customers on your behalf. You're responsible for how you configure them and for telling your website's visitors, in your own privacy notice, that they're chatting with an AI service.
- When we process your visitors' personal data, we do it for you and as you instruct through the app, as our privacy policy describes.
Acceptable use
Don't use Aidfolk to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- publish content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes violence;
- send spam, deceive people, or impersonate anyone;
- give medical, legal or financial advice that people rely on for decisions without a qualified person checking it;
- probe, overload or break our systems, get around limits or security measures, or access other customers' data;
- resell or rent Aidfolk to others without our written agreement.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
AI answers
Answers are generated by AI models from your content. AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when it cites sources. Check that your agents answer the way you want before and after putting them live, and don't rely on an answer as professional advice.
Some features run on third-party services, such as AI providers. If you connect your own AI provider key (on Pro), your use of that provider is also governed by your agreement with it.
Availability and support
We work to keep Aidfolk running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we don't offer an uptime guarantee. We may pause it briefly for maintenance. Support is by email at support@aidfolk.com; on plans with priority support, we answer your messages first.
Suspension and closing
- You can stop using Aidfolk at any time, and ask us to close your account and erase its data.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, doesn't pay, or puts other customers or us at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.
- After an account closes, we delete its content, except what the law requires us to keep.
Disclaimers and liability
Aidfolk is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties that it will meet your needs or that AI answers will be accurate.
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total liability under this agreement is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you haven't paid us. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
You'll cover our reasonable costs if a third party makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell account holders by email before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using Aidfolk after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can close your account.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and its courts settle disputes, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there. Questions about these terms: support@aidfolk.com.
