Refund policy
Last updated
We want you to pay for Aidfolk only if it works for you. That's why there's a free plan to try it first, and why this policy is short. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, and refunds go back to the payment method you used.
Your first payment
If Aidfolk isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment for a paid plan, monthly or yearly, and we'll refund it in full. When we refund a subscription payment, we also cancel the subscription, and your workspace moves to the free plan.
Renewals
Renewal payments aren't refunded, because you can cancel any time before a renewal and keep your plan until the end of the period. If a renewal charged you by surprise, write to us within 14 days and we'll look at it fairly.
Credit packs
A credit pack you haven't used can be refunded within 14 days of buying it. If you've used some of its credits, we refund the unused share, and those credits are removed from your workspace.
A plan's monthly credits aren't refunded separately from the plan.
Cancelling
You can cancel a subscription any time from Billing in the app. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then your workspace moves to the free plan. Until then, you can resume it.
How to ask for a refund
Email support@aidfolk.com from the address on your account, with the order number from your Lemon Squeezy receipt. A person reads every request. Once we approve it, Lemon Squeezy returns the money; how soon it reaches you depends on your bank or card provider.
Exceptions
We may refuse a refund when an account has broken our terms of service, for example by abusing the service, or when refunds are being used to get around paying. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
